MORE ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF SYMMETRY LITHIUM OROTATE NASAL SPRAY
Health Benefits of Lithium Orotate
Brain Protection: Studies show that the mineral lithium can actually rejuvenate and build the grey matter nerve cells in the brain by up to three percent.
Anti-Aging Effects: Small amounts of lithium orotate have been shown to offer anti-aging effects to the brain.
Neuroprotection From Environmental Toxins: Lithium has been shown to protect the system from numerous toxins, particularly in the grey matter of the brain.
Lithium Orotate Supports Mania and Bipolar Affliction
Bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness) is a mood disorder that involves episodes of both manic highs and seriously low mood swings, (And then back again) with periods of normalcy in between. The third most common mood disorder (after major depression and dysthymic disorder) manic-depression is often severe and life threatening. It affects about 1% of adults during their lifetime. Symptoms of manic depression typically begin during adolescence or early adulthood, and continue to recur throughout life. Men and women are equally likely to develop this disabling illness. Manic depression is often complicated by co-occurring alcohol or substance abuse. Without effective treatment, bipolar illness leads to suicide in nearly 20% of cases.
Lithium is the most effective element used for stabilizing mood swings for those with manic (bipolar) depression. Lithium Orotate, a natural Lithium salt of orotic acid, is 20 times more bio-active than other Lithium salts and allows a reduction in dosage as well as the likelihood of potential side effects associated with prescription Lithium. HBC's Symmetry is the first ever homeopathic Lithium Orotate homeopathic spray formulation. Synergistically combined with both GABA and Albumin, Symmetry is designed to help you instantly achieve therapeutic brain Lithium concentrations while supporting balanced brain function, especially during episodes of anxiety, stress, depression.
How does Lithium Orotate compare to Lithium Carbonate and Lithium Chloride?
The pharmacokinetics of Lithium Orotate were studied in parallel protocols with both the Lithium Carbonate and the Lithium Chloride ions. No differences in the uptake, distribution and excretion of the Lithium ion were observed between Lithium Orotate, Lithium Carbonate and Lithium Chloride after single injection or after administration of the Lithium salts for 20 days in the food. The findings oppose the notion that the pharmacokinetics of the Lithium ion given as Lithium Orotate differ from Lithium Chloride or Lithium Carbonate. Further more, unlike the carbonate and chloride, the oratate was found to be non toxic.
JAMA (The Journal of American Medical Association--Click here to read full study) Lithium, an inexpensive drug for bipolar disorder. Lithium is one of the most common elements used for stabilizing mood swings, mania and depression. Lithium Orotate is a highly bioavailable form of Lithium that is available without a prescription. Because of its superior bioavailability, (20 times more bio-active than other Lithium salts) lower doses of Lithium Orotate (Rather than Lithium carbonate or Lithium citrate) may be used to achieve therapeutic brain Lithium concentrations and relatively stable serum concentrations. (1,2) while greatly reducing the likelihood and severity of potential side effects
Lithium Orotate has also been demonstrated to be of benefit in the treatment of alcoholics, and proved useful in alleviating alcohol-related symptoms of liver dysfunction, seizure disorders, headaches, hyperthyroidism, affective disorders. (3) Meniere’s syndrome, and liver and lung cancers. If you cannot tolerate higher doses of Lithium due to side effects you might try replacing it with Lithium Orotate. It requires no blood tests and side effects are pretty much non-existent. It is non-prescription and even at lower doses is just as effective as much higher doses of the prescription forms of Lithium.
Standard dose is 2-6 sprays per day or as directed by your physician.

Lithium Orotate May Also Support:
- Lyme's Disease
- Low white blood cell counts
- Juvenile convulsive disease
- Alcoholism and liver disorders
- Pain associated with migraine and cluster headaches
- Hyperthyroidism and other thyroid diseases: Studies show that lithium may aid in the even distribution of iodine.
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as a general stress reducer.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and aggression: Studies show that individuals taking Lithium experienced lowered levels of rage and anger, as well as improved memory.
- Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
- In the reduction of myopia (nearsightedness) and glaucoma: Dr. Hans Nieper found that glaucoma patients could benefit from the dehydrating effect of lithium on the eye, offering patients vision improvement and a lowering of intraocular pressure.
- Bipolar disorder: Orotates may lessen effects of manic or depressive episodes. Lithium has been shown to serve as an effective mood balancer in 70-80 percent of bipolar patients.
- Depression: the therapeutic dosage of lithium Orotate is 150 mg/day. This is compared to 900-1800 mg of the prescription forms. In this dosage range of lithium orotate, there are no adverse side effects and no need for monitoring blood serum.
